I usually poor a bit at a time in to a little dish , I use a take away carton , rather than straight out the tin, Reason ? its very strong and can contaminate or discolour the remainder . Water based , quick drying so wash your brushes out with soapy hot water straight away after use , a good brush to apply is the small synthetic high quality smooth Annie Sloan flat brush , and large. I lacquer chairs with these brushes we have these in stock.
